Alberta Campmeeting

We had a blast this year at our Alberta Campmeeting.  It was wonderful that my mom and dad were able to come and also spend the first weekend with us.  The boys were able to share in the excitement of what or summers involve with their "faraway" grandparents.  Wish they were able to do it every year!
Campmeeting can REALLY wear a guy out!
Landen sleeping through one of the evening meetings!

While at Campmeeting the boys and I went to Calgary one evening to visit my good friend Celeste and her 3 children who had just moved back from Arizona.  It was soooo good to see them and it was hard to believe that it had just about been 1 1/2 years since our visit to them in Phoenix.  Kids grow way to quickly in that amount of time!

Carefully crossing the street.  Theo quite enjoyed Jaren.

We've had a pretty busy month of July here with spending time preparing for our annual campmeeting that we attended for just about a week and then attending a wedding in Edmonton to coming home this past week and having a week filled with visiting family.  Now this next week we have the boys in swimming lessons so that again will take up our last week of July.  Where did the month go???  So to update with quite a few photos I hope you take the time to enjoy the smileboxs that will be prepared! Once again, too many good pictures to only pick a few from!

The boys and I were privileged to spend the week at Foothills Camp for our annual church campmeeting due to Lawrence and Debbie allowing us to use their trailer. It was a very long and busy week but it was SOO worth it watching the enjoyment on Jaren and Landen's faces as they were singing and learning about Jesus! Thank you soo much Lawrence and Debbie for giving our boys the opportunity to experience such a wonderful, memorable time!

Alberta Campmeeting

Well, we survived a couple of days at campmeeting by ourselves, the boys and me! But I must say that we were ready to come home mid-week to get rested up. There was way too many late nights and early mornings for this mommy to keep her sanity much longer!! We had a wonderful time attending the Cradle Roll division meetings 2x each day. Jaren was getting right into the program that they had by the time we were ready to leave. We learned a lot about Noah and the Flood.

The first weekend we got together with a number of old friends for supper on Saturday night. It was so good to see faces that we haven't seen in a very long time! It is always great to visit over some good food. Thanks to everyone for bringing such a spread!

Jaren, Jonathan and Kaitlyn had fun on Sunday watching the parade and gathering up the candy that was tossed in their direction.
Here are some various shots from the Cradle Roll Division:
Landen got well acquainted with Briana Weich who is only 3 weeks younger than him. Steve and Kim had their trailer parked right across the road from us so we got in some good evening visits with them. And it was great to have Steve there to help me with things that I needed assistance with - thanks Steve!!!!

Various collages of the little people that we hung out with:

Steve with Landen and Briana - like I said he was a great help!!! :)
Even the littlest ones got to enjoy the meetings and be entertained by all the excitement of the bigger kids!

Jaren was always wanting to keep busy with something, so why not push the stroller with Landen and Kaitlyn. Maybe then he'd have a good sleep after a bit of work!

Thanks again to Lawrence and Debbie for giving us the chance to spend some time at campmeeting this year since it was their trailer that we stayed in. All-in-all fun was had by everyone and maybe sometime we will be able to do it again in the future.

Smoky Lake Campmeeting

On Friday we headed up to Smoky Lake to spend the evening with the Trenchuk's and attend Smoky Lake campmeeting on Sabbath. The weather was perfect - nice & warm with a little breeze. Lots of visiting was accomplished, it was so wonderful to see everyone and spend at least a little time with them. We look forward to seeing them all again this coming weekend at Alberta Campmeeting.

Enjoying each other's company

Where there was Spitz, there was Jaren!

Loving the free-time and the cool breeze!

Jaren got his first lesson on the use of a water gun thanks to Michael!! :)

More Trenchuks - the next generation!!!

Alberta Campmeeting

We spent this past Sabbath at Alberta Campmeeting. It was so great to see & visit with many people that we haven't seen in quite awhile. Jaren especially enjoyed going to the sabbath school class and interacting with all of the other kids that were there. He was also very excited to play with his cousins, Kaitlyn & Jonathan, who we haven't seen for a couple of weeks. We had a wonderful day of fellowship & we truly look forward to it every year.
