On our way home we were able to stop in Calgary and meet Olivia who was born on August 16. She was only 5lb 15oz when she was born. So when we got to see her at 5 days old, I got a quick reminder of how tiny our boys were. She is the same size now as when Jaren was born (5lbs 11oz). I enjoyed a bit of snuggle time with the little princess! Congratulations you guys! She is beautiful! Can't wait to see her again soon!

A Weekend to Ourselves!

This past weekend a group of us headed to Invermere, BC to have a bit of a break from day-to-day lifes and our children!!! It was such a great time with friends and the weather was PERFECT! The guys of the group: Kevin, Norman and Randy

Our Little Entrepreneur

Jaren had a business idea last week and wanted to make a little bit of money...

So he trucked to the end or our driveway to try and sell his art to customers that would drive by.

Unfortunately, we live in the middle of no-where and so in a hour-and-a-half of sitting in the heat, not a single vehicle drove by!

He still doesn't want to give up, so I may have to call on some nieghbors next time! It was too cute! Mom wasn't allowed to buy any cause I wasn't a REAL customer!! :)

A Trip to the Badlands

His Eye Is On The Sparrow....

The other day when I went out to bbq one evening there was this little bird sitting under our patio furniture. Afraid that Tori might kill it I scooped it up and brought it into the house for the kids to see. Jaren then took it and held the little thing in his hand for quite some time. I think it may have hit our window and was a little bit stunned, so until it got it's bearings, it sat on Jaren's hand.

6 Years Old!

It hard to think where the past 6 years have gone and to look back and see just how much Jaren has grown up. Happy birthday Jaren, we love you!

Oh You Can't Go Horseback Riding....

...If you haven't got a horse!!

An Afternoon at the Farm

Even though we live on a farm we don't have all the fun animals a farm "should" have. 1 dog, 3 cats, 1 rabbit and 2 calves really don't qualify. So we headed to a neighbors who had many things for the kids to look at and handle which created an afternoon of fun. Little kittens for each of the kids to hold

Baby chicks - Jaren even got the experience of this one pooping in his hand! He was quite grossed out - must be my kid!!

A ride on a horse named Andy

The funny story behind this old horse was he originally came from Uncle Andrew. John and Sue got this cutting horse from Andrew when the horse was about 3 years old. Uncle Andrew was Great Grandpa Letniak's brother who passed away about 12-13 years ago I believe. Andrew Letniak used to raise Quarter horses, so Andy (the horse pictured here) is between 28-30 years old and once again has some little Letniaks riding it!

Jaren's Birthday Party

On Tuesday Jaren will be turning 6 years old - where did that go? On Saturday evening we had a birthday celebration for him with friends and family.

Missing Them Already!

I have to apologize for all the Smilebox's and movies! When you have 3 kids around you tend to take LOTS of pictures - so that's just what I did. I have too many to pick from so it is easiest to take most of them and make slideshows! Look if you like, and if you have time! :)

A Family of 5 This Week

This week we have the pleasure of my little niece staying with us while her Mommy is up in the Bonnyville area working until Friday. It has been so much fun having her here with us and really getting to know her. The boys absolutely adore her and she loves them too! Makes my job a little easier when I have 2 entertainers to keep Kendall busy! :) My 3 kids!
