Punta Cana Vacation

For our 10 year anniversary we decided to take a trip with some good friends of ours to a tropical destination.  We decided to visit Punta Cana in the Dominica Republic.  It was a nice and very relaxing holiday.  We were there for 1 week. We enjoyed the beach, some para-sailing and the 4 of us all went scuba diving for the first time in our lives!  It was great to share these experiences with Randy and Rosanna!!!  Loved every minute of it!!!

Scuba Diving

We just arrived back from a wonderful tropical vacation to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.  We were there 1 week and enjoyed every minute of it.  One of the highlights of the trip was the opportunity we had to go Scuba Diving on the Caribbean side of the Dominican.  It is an experience that I will never forget and one that we got to share with some of our good friends, Randy and Rosanna!  Once in a lifetime!!  :)

Halloween

For Halloween we went to Jaren's school for the afternoon where they had a mini-carnival for the kids.  It was great to attend something because of the blowing snow and some kids getting sick I decided that trick-or-treating was out this year :(  Bad Mom!!  Oh well, even though we didn't go out and get candy from the neighbors, the neighbors seemed to drop off the candy to the kids over the next week or so at our house!!  So I was unsuccessful in that department of keeping the sugar content low at our place!!

Thanksgiving Monday

For Thanksgiving dinner we celebrated at Curtis and Julie's house.  It was a nice relaxing day.  After lunch we went for a chilly quad tour around where they live.  When there are quads, the kids are usually pretty happy!!!  :)

New Beginnings

On the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend we had the honor of attending a good friend's wedding in Red Deer.  Stephen is a great friend to us that we have really gotten to know well over the past couple of years.  He came and spent some time working with us over a couple of summers and we have really enjoyed his friendship.  Our boys also adore Stephen and think very highly of him.  So it was wonderful to be able to celebrate with him and his new wife Susan!

An Afternoon At Bower Ponds

For Thanksgiving weekend we went to spend the weekend at Curtis and Julie's.  On that same weekend we had a wedding to attend so it was a real weekend full of thanksgiving and celebrations.  On Sabbath we went to Bower ponds in Red Deer to enjoy a beautiful day outside and enjoy every bit of fall we could.
