Our Little "Twins"

We got these adorable matching Polo shirts from Jeremy and Bibi so I was quite excited to wear them today and have our two little boys matching! Thanks guys, they couldn't have fit more perfect and we love them! So I had fun this morning taking shots of them together.

Landen getting bored already and Jaren ALWAYS wanting a tractor in the picture!

Sittin' purdy!

Being goofs (like usual!)

"Is she serious, she wants us to smile for ANOTHER picture? How do you keep doing that Jaren??"

Having a big brother is great especially when you get to help him finish his yogurt for breakfast!

Landen always wanting to follow Jaren everywhere he goes. He can't wait until he is brave enough to let go of things and be on his own.

The silly grin we've been getting for quite awhile while Landen is finally cutting his bottom 2 molars (74 & 84) at the same time. He loves to grind them together which just about puts his Mommy through the roof!!

Landen's Love

I couldn't resist posting the picture that Connie took a little while ago while Landen and Jaren spent the day there. Him and his phones!!! He absolutely loves to talk on the phone to anyone and he'll keep them on as long as they will listen to him jabber in what we call "Landrin"!

Visitors on a Special Day

On Wednesday, May 27th was a special day as it was Kevin's 32nd birthday, Happy Birthday To You! As well as it being a special day for Kevin we had fun as we had a visit with Barbara (another hygienist that I work with) and her daughter, Rena. Rena is 4 1/2 months younger than Landen and will be 1 year at the end of July.

Landen's 2nd Haircut

Last week Landen got his 2nd experience at getting his hair cut. He did exceptionally well once again sitting in the chair all by himself while Tera trimmed up the longer pieces. What a trooper! (Hopefully the "good" trend will continue!)
The finished product - so proud of himself!!

Congratulations Randi & Trent!

I just wanted to take this time to congratulate my sister, Randi and her "now" fiance Trent!! They got engaged just this May-long weekend and plan to get married sometime early next fall (I believe!!) We are soo happy for the both of you! :) Welcome to the family Trent!

Scott and Patricia's Reception

Today we took a quick trip to Calgary to celebrate the marriage of our friends Scott and Patricia who were married March 6, 2009. It was a lovely afternoon and a great time to visit family and friends.

Congratulations again to the both of you!!!

The cutting of the cake - which was delicious!

Jaren, also enjoying Scott & Patricia's preception (as he called it!!)

"Tractoring"

For Landen's birthday we bought him a JD tractor like his brother so they could go "tractoring" together. Since we have turned Landen outdoors in this warmer weather this is what he does ALL over the yard. Thankfully I have 2 more eyes to watch him cause he goes quite the distance and manuevers the tractor around like a little pro. Soon he won't need the tractor to support him walking, he'll be motoring on his own.

Been Awhile!

Between kids/puppies/seeding/spraying/single parenting there has not been a lot of time to post pictures or take pictures for that matter. Every day seems to be juggling between naps, odd chores around the house & delivering lunches to a hard working Daddy! I am thankful for the sunshine so that Jaren can spend most of his day outdoors playing and being entertained by the puppy.

Tori & Keesha

Where there is one, there is usually the other!
Literally DOUBLE TROUBLE!!

Our growing little man

Meal time
Today we actually had some few spotty showers so Jaren got to sport his rain gear that was given to us and has hardly been worn. It saw a couple of drops today!
Jaren especially loves his Thomas rubber boots - they are his favorite!

Before lunch today Jaren also got a special treat by riding for a bit with Mr. Murray in his quad track - this was the highlight today and all that he could talk about. Thanks Murray!

So excited to get to the tractor and go for his first ride in a quad track!

The stylin' Jaren waiting for Mr. Murray to finish his pass

Tori is doing really well and everybody has adjusted quite nicely to each other - even Keesha likes her ( I think!! ). It is soo cute to look outside at them and see Tori cuddled into Keesha's fluffy coat of hair. I am so happy that we have another dog while getting the puppy - it sure keeps Tori occupied and close to the house. Where we live it is impossible to "fence in" a yard and I'm not crazy about having a dog tied up 24 hrs/day, so when we are home Tori and Keesha are free to roam the place as much as they want. I still don't trust the little one when I am gone so that is the time that she gets hooked up to the dog run while we are away. Can't be losing her!!
Such a precious little face :)

Landen enjoying the outdoors for a bit - middle of May and we're still having to wear toques! Hopefully it warms up soon!

Oh Give Me a Home Where the Buffalo Roam...

Such a big world to explore and soo many ventures ahead of him!
Mr. Murray, on the highest elevation point around Hemaruka, showing Jaren where the farm is

Jaren, Murray, Kevin & Landen enjoying the view and the company.

My 3 handsome men!

Never in a million years did I think that I would live in a home a few miles from where the buffalo roam and the deer and the antelope actually play! I'd NEVER seen an antelope until I moved here! :) Gotta love the home on the range!!! Yesterday we met in the afternoon with Murray and Elaine to introduce Tori to Murray. We then got a wonderful tour through the pasture and took in the spectacular view from the highest elevation in this area (things don't have to be too high out here in the flat prairie but any elevation sure gives you a view!!) It was a gorgeous day and so nice to be outside.

Fun Times with Uncle

Yesterday we went for a visit to Great Grandpa's. Before leaving Jaren got whisked away with his Uncle Lawrence on the popular Ranger to check the cows. So while Landen and I waited we did a little photo session playing in the grass.

Loving the outdoors but not too crazy about his hat - something we have to get used to!!

"Does this thing run?? It would be so much more fun mom!!"

Even Landen got to go for a little spin around the yard with Uncle Lawrence and Jaren, the boys had a blast.

Thanks for taking the time to entertain them and we hope you had a happy birthday yesterday!

Welcome Andi!

Two cousins, Charli & Andi, born the same day being held by Leah.

I would like to congratulate my friend Haley on the safe arrival of her daughter, Andi Mae, born April 20th weighing 10lbs 10oz. We were sooooooooo happy she had a girl because their first 3 tries have all been boys and now she FINALLY has her little girl to dress in pink!

The other baby in the picture above is of Haley's niece being held by her sister Leah. Haley and her 2 sisters were all pregnant at the exact same time. Her one sister had a girl a couple weeks before and then these two ladies got induced the same day and both had girls as well! What a busy family!
