Last night we had another Halloween party at the local community hall. It was cute to see all the kids dressed up and having fun.

Halloween Party at PreSchool
Just Another Day
Everyday is interesting with having the boys and my dogs in the house. The kids just adore our old girl Keesha who has aged rather quickly over the past 6 months. She is definitely our senior in this household and is given extra care and attention. It will be ONE sad day when we have to say goodbye to one of my best friends. I believe she is just about completely deaf and her eyesight has deteriorated quite a bit as well. She is somewhere between 13 & 14 years old. I never did know exactly how old she was when she first came into my life. She has been one of the most wonderful canine companions anyone could ask for!

The Dreaded Goodbyes
This morning we said goodbye to my mom and dad after they had been here a week. The boys had a blast keeping them busy outside - we couldn't have asked for nicer weather for this time of year. It was in the high teens and low 20's just about every day (and no WIND)!
Ready to hit to the road - but first we've gotta have our traditional goodbye photo in our pj's!
Pretty soon they'll be chasing them with their quads! :)
Since it was harvest time mom and dad got to spend only a few short minutes each morning with Kevin before he would head out again for the day and not return till early hours the next morning. So for supper we'd all pile in the vehicle and take him something each night so we could have a little time with him.
We always look forward to our times together - don't know exactly when the next one will be but we'll have to start thinking about it. We'll probably make the journey to Terrace this coming year since we weren't there this past summer. Miss you guys already and thanks again for coming and spending the week with us out here!
LOVE YOU!!

Harvest Continues

In Full Swing
It is finally nice to say that harvest has been in full swing for the past couple of weeks. The weather for October has been absolutely gorgeous, which is just what we needed to get our crops off. Hopefully it just sticks around for a little bit longer until we finish. This week looks great but next week there are some predictions of snow flurries - hopefully that isn' true. But I guess it IS the end of October soon!
Love the Grandparent VIsits!
Mom and Dad came to our place just before the weekend and are spending a week here. The boys just LOVE to have them around and are keeping my folks entertained (or worn out!). I am also enjoying the extra hands around to help me get things ready for winter as my hubby is extremely busy getting harvest done. So we don't get to see him too much throughout the day or night! We have been soo fortunate to have such gorgeous weather this time of year and are just praying it continues for a little bit longer.

My Sister's Wedding!
For Thanksgiving this year we had a lot to celebrate as my sister and her long-time boyfriend got married!!!! It was the perfect day for the perfect wedding! I was her Matron of Honor and had so much fun being part of this day with them. Landen and Jaren were her little ring bearers and they looked absolutely adorable. They were married on October 9th in Grande Prairie.
There were so many pictures from the day so I decided to compile some of them into the Smilebox. Take a look if you want!

Trip to Grande Prairie
For the past 2 weeks I have been in Grande Prairie since my sister got married this last weekend. The boys and I headed up early to try and help her with last minute running around of things. So that is why there has been a severe lack of posts lately! :) Here are a few pics from the couple of weeks. I don't have any pictures of the wedding, since I was in it and didn't want to carry around my camera. I will have to steal them from my dad when they get here and then post those later.
Dawn was the bridesmaid and I was Randi's Matron of Honor.
