What a Wonderful Weekend!!!!!!

Welcome to The Letniaks!!!

Rob & Myla Trenchuk, Randy & Rosanna Trenchuk and the Letniaks
The following pictures are just of some of the fun and fellowship that we experienced over Sabbath. What a beautiful day to be out and enjoying the fresh (and sometimes not-so-fresh) air! :) Thanks again Myla for taking these wonderful pictures! Enjoy!

This weekend Rob, Myla, Randy & Rosanna came out to visit us. It was so great to see everyone. Jaren was quite excited to have soo much attention with being the only child around but he will be loving it even more when Randy and Rosanna have their baby in August and he will eventually have someone to "farm" with!! A great BIG thankyou to Myla who took over 200 pictures while being out here - she is the one who provided me with all of these shots (it was VERY hard to pick and choose a few because they are all so good!) I can't wait to see the ones that Rosanna took on Sunday - these girls had their cameras clicking all the time. What wonderful memories!! Thanks again for all coming out,we love having you here!

Spring Has Finally Arrived......for how long though, who knows?

Just saying a quick prayer before getting on his quad!
Look at me everyone - aren't you proud Grandpa S. I have my helmet on!!!
Getting a little fancy

We FINALLY had a nice (not windy/cold) afternoon so Jaren and I headed outside immediately after lunch to make the best of it because right now you don't know how long it will last. I was even able to hang clothes on the line for drying! We got the trees pruned and the dead plants cut back so now we feel a little more ready for spring to come and the yard looks a little bit cleaner now. Can't wait to see the trees start budding and things turning green. It is such a wonderful time of the year when everything comes to life (and we get to get out of the house!). This morning I even had to close our bedroom window because the meadow larks were so loud that I couldn't sleep - and it was only 6:20am. Spring IS finally here!

Such a Curious Mind

The challenges of a silly water bottle!

It is amazing to watch this little person figure something new out everyday - sometimes I think that we should challenge ourselves with the same thing. It would be good for all of us!

All Dolled Up

We are just waiting ever-so-patiently for Daddy to come home from doing chores so that we can go to Sabbath School. Jaren thinks that if he helps Daddy feed the cows with his little JD tractor that Daddy will come home sooner. Soon enough he will be out there doing the chores for Daddy and we'll be waiting for him! We hope you all had a good day!

Happy Easter!

We would like to wish everyone a very happy Easter weekend. We are sticking close to home as the calving season is dictating our lives right now! We just hope that it continues to warm up and melt away all of our snow so we can get outside and play again!

Many of you may be meeting together with family and friends this long weekend. Have a wonderful time (and yes Mom.....we do wish that we were home with you guys too! Miss you all very much but we know you will have a wonderful visit with Randi - it is well deserved!)

Anticipating Spring

Jaren is well protected from the bitter wind that we had to fight against on our walk. At times I wanted to jump into his stroller with him.

We can not wait for the weather to warm up so we can get outside without having to wear all of our winter gear. We ventured our for a 2 mile walk today because I was beginning to get a little stir crazy in the house. Upon returning from your walk Jaren helped me take down the remainder of christmas lights that were still in our few trees. Now when the weather does get a little warmer I can get out there and prune the trees before they start to bud. I took this picture when we got back into the house - I loved the rosie cheeks!

Our Newest Thing....

Today we found out that Jaren now has no limitations. We are raising a little monkey who climbs everything!! This afternoon I found him in our bathroom sink which he had crawled up all on his own. He was just wanting to brush his teeth with his mommy and daddy's toothbrush - can you tell what profession his mother is in? What a hygienic little boy! Just have to teach him now how to use the floss!

A Start!

This morning Jaren desperately wanted to sit on the potty. So as I was making bread he sat there for about 20 minutes reading the Ritchie Bros. auction magazine and playing with his trucks - happy as can be. There was no "reward" at the end for mommy but at least it may be a little start! We'll see what tomorrow brings :)

We LOVE Bath Time!

Loving every minute of our time in the tub!

"I REALLY don't want to get out yet and go to bed!"
All clean and ready for nigh nigh!
