On August Long weekend we went camping with Lawrence and Debbie's entire family up by Wainwright.  It was a gorgeous weekend and great time with family

Boys Week with Grandpa and Grandma Sparks

After the family reunion my mom and dad took our boys for a little holiday that they had planned for the kids.  They went down to the Okanagan for a couple of days and then came back by way of Calgary before heading out to the farm again.  It is a trip the boys will not forget!  They had a blast and I had a wonderful week to myself at home!!  ;)

Hovland Family Reunion July 2013

It has been an extremely busy summer so I apologize for the lack of being at the computer, but I have not had time to sit here and go through pictures and create posts!  Hopefully over the next while I'll be able to catch up!  For the July long weekend Kevin, myself and the boys headed to Prince George, BC for our first ever Hovland reunion.  It was so wonderful to see those who could make it and spend quality time with Aunts, Uncles and cousins!  So here is a compilation of my pictures that we took from the weekend.  Thanks for all the memories, looking forward to the next one!

For our Easter break the boys and I headed up to Grande Prairie to spend time with my family and also attend my cousin Ronna's wedding.  It was a beatiful wedding and always a great time to spend with Randi and her family.  My mom and dad were also able to be there for 5 days which the kids absolutley   enjoyed!

Dad's Retirement Weekend in Vancouver

Last weekend on March 15th I flew to Vancouver to spend the weekend with my mom and dad and celebrate my dad's retirement from CBC.  It was a wonderful weekend and great to get away from this snow for 3 days :)  We had a lovely supper that CBC had organized out in Port Moody and then on Saturday it stopped raining and we were able to enjoy walking around downtown a bit.  Sunday was a beautiful day, with the sun shining but we ended up spending most of that day waiting at the Vancouver airport for our flights back to Calgary and Terrace.  So happy to share in such a special time with my parents!  Congratulations dad on your retirement!!  You deserve it, hope you can enjoy it!!!

Christmas with the Letniaks

On December 23rd we celebrated Christmas with Kevin's brother and family as they were going to be away over the holidays.  The day before we had a terrible snow storm so this was my drive to Ron and Connie's place for dinner.  So glad Kevin went a few hours ahead of me so I could see slightly where his tracks were on the road.  No ditches, they were completely filled with snow.  Best bet was to aim for the middle of the fence line!!

Upon returning from our trip to the Dominican, Randi and Kendall came to spend a week with us.  It is also so much fun to have a little girl in the house with 2 boys!!
