Rub-A-Dub-Dub

.....fun in the tub!!!!!
Becoming a rock star - as he told me!
The rock star hair!

Cheese!

The lovely red mark on the face was from an incident earlier in the day when it got scratched by a watch as he was playing with Uncle Lawrence :)

The wink!

There's those beautiful eyes!

Getting down to business and FINALLY getting washed up (or rinsed off)!

A Stormy Sabbath

What we woke up to on Sabbath morning...........
The cats got buried in their house in less than 2 hours.

At least we were warm in church.

"Sabbath is a happy day"

And the storm continues....

A little video of Landen reciting his memory verse.

Practice Counting :)

We may need to practice a little bit more on the counting part! He loves his 1's and 6's!!

Jaren's New Pets

A couple of days ago Kevin brought up 3 calves for Jaren to feed oats and hay to. So far he seems to enjoy getting out there 2x/day to do his "job". He can't wait to tame them so he can easily pet them. He's already been able to pet 2 through the fence. We just have to train Tori to love them as much! :)

Keesha happily heading out to help with chores on this nice crisp morning.

Tori standing by watching guard and making sure the calves don't get out of hand! :)

Forking up!

Kessha not very sure about those 3 big brown things!
How things have changed since she first moved to the farm! It used to be GAME ON like it is for the younger one!

Heading to the bin to fill up with oat for the next couple of days.

Loading his sled with oats

So happy and so proud of himself for doing this all on his own.
Hopefully the novelty does not wear off!! ;)

New Year's Dinner

On New Year's Day, Murray & Elaine hosted a lovely turkey dinner at their place for quite a number of people. It was so great to see everyone and have a chance to visit and celebrate the beginning of a New Year. Thank you both for opening your house to ALL of us!!!!

The kids had a blast racing up and down the hallway with the trucks.

Landen made his rounds that night visiting and charming all who would listen!

Jaren received a couple of Lego kits from Christmas from his grandparents so he enjoyed spending the time creating his airplane and a helicopter.

With this family there never seems to be a Christmas holiday that is lacking in everyone getting together to enjoy some sort of delicious meal and visiting! Wednesday night we gathered at Ron and Connie's for a wonderful supper and games to visit with Ryan, Jodie and their significant others before they parted ways again. And then on Thursday we had a wonderful turkey dinner at Lawrence and Debbie's. It was so good to see everyone and spend time with them over the week. Of course there are lots of pictures to pick from during these events so I just threw them into a smilebox, so enjoy if you want to take the time! :)

Family Group Shots

Of course the family shots for those of us gathered together today!

Pilot in Training

This is Jaren's helicopter that he got for Christmas so for the past 3 days Jaren and Kevin have been perfecting their flying skills any minute they get a chance. Jaren is really good at maneuvering the little thing - I have been very impressed. He is such a perfectionist at everything he does! Jaren and his new helicopter

Such concentration and control!
