This past weekend I had the privilege to attend our 10 year reunion from dental hygiene.  It was so great to see some faces that I have not seen since we graduated.  Everyone looked awesome and hadn't changed a bit!!!!  We also got to tour around the campus of the UofA and see the brand new Dentistry building that just opened this year.  A little step up from what we worked with :)  Our reunion was held in Edmonton and we took every opportunity we could to get together throughout the weekend.  Thanks to those who made the weekend so incredible and we missed those that were unable to attend.  Maybe at our next one we'll see more!  Can't wait!

At work this past week we had a day of matching scrub tops for a few of us! Doesn't happen too often but it made for some fun photo taking with our phones! :)

Sunday Brunch

This past weekend the boys and I headed to Calgary to pick up my mom and dad from the airport. Rather than going there and back in one day, which is a VERY long day with kids, we decided to go in one night before to see friends and have a visit with our favorite little people before getting my parents! So on Saturday night we stayed with Sam, Corey and Mary and then Sunday morning we went to Celeste's where she prepared a wonderful brunch for 7 adults and 10 children! Needless to say she had quite a houseful!!

So pictured below are the 4 little munchkins that are all within 2 weeks apart. 2 of the 4 are on the move, Naomi and Ava, and Landen and Isabella still haven't quite figured out how to get those knees and arms moving in a coordinated fashion! It is soo much fun to be around other babies that are the same age and watch them interact!

I put together some more pictures of our day together with the girls and their children. Watch and enjoy!

Drumheller for the Day

Yesterday we went to Drumheller to have a visit with some of my hygiene girls and friends from the UofA. It was a gorgeous warm day out so we decided to go to the Splash Park for the older boys to run around and burn off some energy while we took in some of the rays. Our time was pretty scheduled as we had 4 nursing babies to tend to once we got back to Sara's house, I must say though we did pretty good with 4 mom's and 7 children! So here are some of our pictures from the visit!

Okay, it's time to warm up again!

Back at the house:

Celeste (Isabella), Sara & Leah (38 weeks pregnant and holding Naomi, Sara's little girl)

Left to Right: Me (Landen & Jaren), Leah (Naomi - Sara's baby), Lena (Ava - Celeste's baby & Will), Celeste (Rowan - Lena's baby) & Sara (Isabella - Celeste's baby)

Confused yet??? I sure am!! :)
It was sooo good to see everyone again and all the little ones! They change and grow too quickly - can't wait to do it again hopefully soon. Then we'll have Leah's baby girl to add to the mix as well! :)

Babies, Babies, Babies & MORE Babies!

As mom and dad were heading north to Edmonton on Thursday, myself and the boys headed south to Calgary so that I could attend my annual dental hygiene convention on Friday. Another reason for going was because several of my girlfriends that I went to hygiene school with either live in Calgary or were going to be at the convention and 2 of them had babies the same time that we had Landen. One friend Celeste had twin girls 3 days before Landen was born and then Sara had Naomi exactly 1 week after we had Landen. So I couldn't wait to meet these newest family members and visit with everyone else. It was so neat to see all these little people that are all within 10 days of each other. I was amazed at how close all of them were in size. Landen is one lucky little boy with having such beautiful girls his own age! :)

Then on Saturday night we all met at Jodi (another classmate) and Jason's house for a BBQ. We were going to go out for supper but with the thought of 4 infants and 3 toddlers it just didn't seem to be that appealing. So Jodi offered to have us over and it was a very relaxing evening for all - especially with all the breast-feeding that was happening!!!
Thanks Jodi and Jason!!!!

A Trip to the Hygienist!

After work yesterday a truck-load of the Letniak's showed up to get their teeth cleaned by me! Auntie Julie was the first in line so Jonathan could watch and then Jonathan was next! This was his first cleaning that he had and he did absolutely amazing!! I was so proud of him! Once Jonathan was finished we than had our last patient of the day - Grandma Scobie!
We then ventured to the grocery store to pick up a couple of things and as you can see that is ALWAYS an adventure with these little rascals!

Julie & I also braved dining out with the three of them and then it was an entertaining ride home. I was hoping that at least they would have a little sleep on the ride back but of course not!!! We love talking about the events that took place during the day!

Weekend In Edmonton

On Thursday, May 3rd, Jaren & I headed up to Edmonton for my annual CRDHA convention. We had the pleasure of staying with a couple of our close friends, the Holowaychuks! While I was at the convention Mary & "Renner", Sandra's mom & niece, took care of Jaren. I can not thank them enough for keeping him for the couple of days and putting my mind at complete ease! Thanks again sooooooo much, both of you! And thank you also to Sam and Corey for opening up your house so readily to us and our 21 month old!!!!!

It was a great weekend to get in touch with some people that we only see once a year and sometimes even less. Along with the fellowship of friends we did learn a little at the courses! All-in-all it was a wonderful time to get to the city.

After a long day it is nice to go out for a great meal - which I ate all of!!!

My Youngest Patient Yet!

This was one of my patients this past week.....no, he actually observed his mom the whole appointment while I provided her dental hygiene therapy. I just found it very hard to concentrate on my job because he was just soooo cute. He is only 3 months old and his name is Kayne. What a doll!
