Baby Shower for Kendall

On the Sunday before heading back home a baby shower was hosted at my Auntie Loanne's for baby Kendall. It was such a wonderful and special day, thanks to Auntie Loanne, Jodie and Charlene (Randi's friend) for all their hard work to put it on.

Birthday Celebrations

This past weekend Curtis, Julie and family came out to spend some time with us. It was a fun afternoon after church as we got to celebrate Julie's birthday, which is actaully today! Happy birthday Julie!!

We LOVE Smoothies!

One of Landen's most favorite things for supper is any kind of fruit smoothie. He will not stop sucking on the straw until every drop of the drink is done. I don't know how he doesn't get brain-freeze like the rest of us!! It is too cute to watch!

Can even drink with no hands!

The Letniak Clan

During the Christmas holidays with the Letniaks we got a professional photographer to come and take pictures of the entire clan, since everyone was together. These are just some of the proofs that were sent to some of the family. It was great to have everyone there to create these memories. The Whole Gang of Us Letniaks

Winter Wonderland & My Kees!

Today has been just the most gorgeous day with all the frost on the trees, everything is white. This is what makes me love living in a country that has all 4 seasons. Not only am I enjoying this beautiful calm day outside but our Kees love this as well. It is nice and fairly warm in the sun but there is the white snow to lay in and keep perfect for temperatures!! With their coats of hair, I would believe this is a kind of day they would pick over any hot July sun!!!

Tori, trying to shake the frost off of her that has fallen from the trees. She doesn't sit still for a second!

My precious Keesha

Keesha got a little face-dip in the snow!

Something got Tori's attention - doesn't take much!

Keesha Update

We are now at 17 days post-surgery for Keesha and she is doing remarkably well. It was literally like a weight was lifted from her and her healing has been 100% so far. We had most of the stitches removed this morning, leaving about 5 in there still for another 4 days to keep the healing process going on the large incision area. He wants to prevent the skin from coming apart in this "high-tension" sight. The redness is from her itching at the area - she wears a fashionable t-shirt all the time to prevent her claws form getting into the incision and ripping it apart.
Now we just have to wait for this thick coat to grow back in these two areas and then I'll have my fluffy Keesha back! I am so thankful that she is recovering so well, now I just hope that the cancer hasn't spread elsewhere throughout her body and that she will have a very comfortable and happy few years still with us.
